Chicken Battario Recipe
4 Chicken joints
One and a half cups of flour (6oz)
A cup of milk
2 teaspoons baking soda (baking powder)
1 egg (beaten)
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and pepper add the egg and stir, gradually add the milk and beat well to make a smooth batter, dip the chicken joints in the batter and deep fry for approximately twenty minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
